The Kentucky Center for Mathematics is excited to offer the FREE KCM Fluency Readiness Assessments, a bank of assessments focused on evaluating foundational skills and conceptual understandings that are necessary for developing mathematical fluency in the domains of Operations and Algebraic Thinking, Number and Operations in Base Ten, Number and Operations - Fractions. These assessments are an enhanced version of the KCM Fluency Assessments, which are still being offered. KCM has produced a series of FREE webinars to deepen your understanding of using the Fluency Readiness Assessments to evalute your students. These 1-hour webinars will be offered on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Eastern/6:30 p.m. Central. Each session spotlights a unique topic designed to help you make the most of the FRAs, and concludes with an open Q&A with the assessment creators. Attend one or all sessions—everyone is welcome!

After registering, you'll receive a Zoom link by email the Monday before each webinar, and all live attendees will be sent an attendance certificate by email.

Fluency Readiness Overiew: In this virtual session we will examine what it means for students to be ready for fluency in mathematics and how fluency readiness differs from fluency itself. We will explore the fluency readiness assessments (within 10, 20, 100, 1000, and fractions), analyze sample items, and discuss ways to integrate these tools into instructional practice.

In this virtual session, we will take a deep dive into fluency readiness within 20 by examining foundational standards and how the corresponding assessment items in the FRA20 reveal students' readiness.

In this virtual session, we will take a deep dive into fluency readiness within 1000 by examining foundational standards and how the corresponding assessment items in the FRA100 and FRA 1000 reveal students' readiness.
