Speaker Proposals

The KCM is counting on wonderful teachers like you to share your knowledge and experience by leading breakout sessions at the 2025 Conference! You can submit a speaker proposal for the 2025 KCM Conference now through November 15, 2024.

Note: All breakout sessions will be face-to-face during this conference. There are NO virtual presentation options.

All proposal submitters will receive an email by 5 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2024 to let them know if their proposal has or has not been accepted.

Note: If you have not received the email by 7 p.m on December 2, you should check your spam and junk folders.

Speaker Registration

  • We encourage all Lead Speaker applicants to register for the KCM Conference at the early-bird rate of $200, but ask that no payment be made until after speaker selection has been completed.
  • Upon acceptance, Lead Speakers with a conference registration will automatically be converted to the lead speaker rate of $100 and a new invoice will be sent.
  • Lead Speakers that have not yet registered at time of acceptance will be automatically registered by December 6th at the discounted rate of $100.
  • All Co-Speakers are encouraged to register under the $200 early-bird package by December 13th. Co-speakers must register themselves by the registration deadline of February 14th.
  • Registration payment is due within 45 days of registering.

Provided Equipment

All presentation rooms will be equipped with a projector, a screen, a laptop, computer speakers, an easel and a flip chart. A document camera is available upon request. Any additional required equipment is the responsibility of the speaker. Speakers may bring their own laptops or Macs, as well. Please note that if a speaker intends to use a Mac, the speaker is responsible for bringing any needed unique cords or cables to connect with the other equipment.
